Having Carey Grant, Audrey Hepburn, or John Wayne on your wall is a wonderful way to add a bit of style, especially if you have a move room or home theater. Fortunately you can find reproductions of these great movie posters fairly easily. And you can find them in just about any genre, even of those old horror that we used to watch huddled under the covers.

Whatever your niche, there are bound to be some old movie posters to go along with it. A friend of mine who is into magic has spent a lifetime collecting old magic posters. Some are worth a lot and others are reproductions but he enjoys them all the same. The only problem he has is figuring out where to find more walls in his home to put them on. It is a happy problem to have.
Another friend of mine is into the whole horror scene and loves Lovecraft and Nosferatu. He collects those.
It is exciting watching the two of them hunt these pieces down. I turn to both of them when I need help finding a particularly difficult to find movie niche. In addition to sites like mine, there are dealers who specialize in finding originals in all of these niches – just expect to pay a premium if you go that route. The framing is what costs the most, whether you go for originals or reproductions. You can frame them yourself, which takes some skill, bring it to a shop that specializes in framing or order it already framed. If they ship it framed be sure to factor that cost into the price of shipping, as the weight will factor in. Old movie posters are always a great find but sometimes a reproduction will do when you are on a budget.
